About Us
Studio Vision Statement:
Starshine Studios, established June 2012, is a boutique dance and tumbling studio that allows students of all ages and abilities to experience and enjoy the many benefits of performance arts.
The desire is to create a program that offers exceptional technical training for all students in an environment that is encouraging, positive, and unpretentious. Performance Arts should be a part of every persons' life, but it is not always the only part of life, for many students. The approach is refreshing and different for our Starshine families

Studio Director:
Shannon Wilson
Born in Utah, growing up in California, Oregon, and Idaho before returning to
Utah as an adult. Miss Shannon began dance,
gymnastics, and figure skating at the age of 3. Training as a competitive figure skater, Miss Shannon continued her dance and tumbling education and graduated from Jefferson High School of Performing Arts in Portland, Oregon.
Recognized for her unique choreography in the dance and ice skating worlds, Miss Shannon performed in the opening gala for the Portland Center for Performing Arts, the Sun Valley Ice Shows, and US Open Professional Championships. She began assisting in dance at the age of 9 and opened her first studio at the age of 20 in Sun Valley, Idaho.
Miss Shannon's training includes: ballet, jazz, tumbling and gymnastics, tap, choreography, musical theatre, hip hop, flamenco, singles, pairs, and ice dancing, and her personal favorite Modern Dance.
Heber has been her home since 2003, where she lives with her husband and two active children. They love to kayak and paddleboard, enjoy the beautiful mountains, and relax and putter around their home. She enjoys helping kids reach their potential in all that they choose to do. During the winter, Miss Shannon enjoys teaching ice skating at the Midway City Ice Rink.
